A CMA workshop:
Bit Numerical Circus 2008

Introduction:
The focus of this meeting is to let younger researchers present their work. This is the latest in a series of "numerical circuses", whose motto has been "everybody is welcome, nobody is invited". This means that everybody has the chance of giving a short presentation.
The main purpose of the meeting is to exchange ideas on numerical mathematics, understood in a broad sense. In particular we are interested in efforts to bring modeling, computation and analysis closer.
The meeting will be held at Holmen Fjordhotell
http://holmenfjordhotell.no starting with lunch at 1200 on Thursday 28th of August, and ending on Friday 29th at 1500. The programme will consist of short presentations. Please indicate whether you would like to speak when you register. The program will be posted at a later date.
This workshop is supported by BIT and CMA, and is one in a series. This year Tom Lyche and Nils Henrik Risebro are the organizers, and we budget to cover accomodations and meals for about 25 participants. You are welcome to apply for support to attend, please send an email to
